rosaは昨日説明した通りとして、giganteaは古典ラテン語の発音ではギガンティアじゃありません。ギガンテーアです。
ちなみにgiganteaはgigas（巨人）から派生した、「巨人の・巨大な」と言う意味の形容詞です。
